How does it work?

Once enrolled- Schools are contacted by QIGA and submit their teams and individuals in each division. This must occur prior to Round 1 each year which is usually held in late February/Early March.

The yearly results are calculated by using the 3 best out of 4 scores, for both the respective teams and individual honours. Individuals compete at each event in gross, nett and stableford competition. While these results support their team efforts, the QIGA also recognizes the top 5 boys, top 3 girls and top 3 performing juniors as individual players of the year. These player are named as Intercollegiate Players of the Year. Previous winners have included Adam Scott, Jason Day, Anthony Quayle and Amy Yang.

When are events held?

Events are held between February and end of July to not clash with school ATAR assessment. All tournaments are played on Monday's with a 7am registration and 8am shotgun start. Events are played at 4 different courses across Brisbane and Gold Coast region.
